Why I created Wellness34, by Lyona...
When I created Wellness34, it came from seeing a clear gap in the industry.
There are plenty of spaces available to rent by the hour, but very few truly feel calm, considered, and aligned with the level many practitioners are actually working at. Too often, the environment feels like an afterthought — functional, but not supportive of the experience practitioners want to create for their clients.
I wanted W34 to feel different.
From the beginning, the vision was never simply to offer rooms. It was to create a space where the environment itself supports the work taking place within it. Somewhere practitioners feel proud to bring their clients. Somewhere clients immediately feel grounded, welcomed, and at ease from the moment they arrive.
Every detail at W34 has been intentionally considered to support a calm and consistent therapeutic practice. Not because wellness spaces need to be flashy or overcomplicated, but because getting the fundamentals right matters. The atmosphere, the flow of the rooms, the feeling people experience when they walk through the door — these things shape the quality of the work being done.
Stepping into W34 is designed to feel like a moment of grounding. We hold the environment so practitioners can fully hold space for their clients.
Alongside the physical space, another important part of the vision has been building a genuine collective of practitioners — creating opportunities for connection, support, collaboration, and the sharing of best practice. Independent practice can sometimes feel isolating, and I wanted W34 to encourage a stronger sense of professional community between like-minded people who care deeply about the work they do.
That vision is now expanding through Hearth — a growing network centred around connection, professional growth, shared learning, and meaningful relationships within the wellness and therapeutic space.
What we are building here is long term. This isn’t a high-turnover space, and we’re not looking to fill rooms simply for the sake of it. We’re creating a professional environment with the right mix of practitioners — people who genuinely care about their clients’ experience, who value professionalism, and who want to grow their practice in a considered and supportive setting.
The right fit matters on both sides.
That’s why we keep availability intentionally limited and encourage practitioners to come and experience the space in person. W34 continues to evolve through the people who become part of it, and creating the right community is just as important as creating the right environment.
At its heart, Wellness34 is about creating a place where meaningful work can happen consistently — calmly, professionally, and with care.
